YES. We want to meet new friends! We ask that everyone registers though. Spread the word

 

FAQ: DO I HAVE TO PURCHASE A TEE SHIRT

NO. However, we like to show uniformity at events so that no one gets lost in a crowd. We have name tags for everyone.

 

FAQ: DO I HAVE TO REGISTER 

YES. We want to know you. We also want to make sure that we have your Emergency Contact information on file. Lastly, we need to keep track for when we are going to large public group events, like at a theater

 

FAQ: ANY TRANSPORTATION

NO. You have to make your own way to our Third "3rd" Thursday meet-up locations. However, SEPTA offers FREE transportation for Senior Citizens ages 65+. All of our event meet-up locations are near an easy-to-get-to SEPTA bus or train route. Call SEPTA 215-580-7145 (Press 6). Ask for the SENIOR FARE CARD.

WAIVER STATEMENT

Third "3rd" Thursdays are a recreational fun group for active senior adults aged 55+. No medication will be administered at any time. You must handle your own medication, medical, financial, and personal care needs.

 

Elder abuse, theft, or mistreatment of any kind is not tolerated. Any occurrence is immediately reported to your family as well as every related Federal, State, and Philadelphia County agency. These include the Philadelphia Police Department and Pennsylvania Department of Aging
